Schedule and hold remote meetings with video calls

To schedule a remote meeting

  1. In Calendar, click  on the side of the page.
  2. On the Event details page:

    a. Next to Video call, click Change name and name your interview (For example: johnsmith-interview).

    b. Under Guests, enter your invitees’ email addresses.

    c. Fill in the rest of the meeting information, then click .

    d. In the dialogue box, click .

The interviewee receives an email with the interview invitation and a link to the video call.

To join the video meeting

You

  1. In Calendar, click the event you want to join.
  2. Click the Video call link.
  3. In the Hangouts window that opens, click .

Invitee

  1. In your email inbox, open the message with the interview invitation.
  2. Click the Video call link.
  3. In the Hangouts window that opens, click .
